A 60-year-old New Jersey man is lucky to be alive after getting stuck in a dumpster for several days.
The victim was rescued on Saturday by both Firefighters and police officers.
Officials say the unidentified man saw a chair in the dumpster and attempted to retrieve it.
While attempting to retrieve the item, the man somehow fell into the dumpster and became stuck.
The victim told rescuers that he was stuck in the dumpster for three days despite screaming for help.
On the third day, a resident heard the man’s screams and called the police.
Authorities say they could not confirm how long the man was in the dumpster.
The man sustained minor injuries.
