(WEST PALM BEACH) — A man was shot dead and a 17 year old is currently hospitalized following a shooting Wednesday night in the Northwood Hills neighborhood.

Law enforcement stated that a teen male was shot multiple times and was transported to the St. Mary’s Trauma Center’s emergency room for treatment. He is expected to survive.

The second victim ran up a driveway and collapsed behind a house and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The area within the Northwood Hills neighborhood was blocked off as authorities investigated the aftermath of the incident.

Various neighbors who were kept out of the neighborhood, conveyed distress while they waited to go home.

Law enforcement have not yet released the identities of the victims.

There is no current information on the suspect or motive for the shooting and this investigation is ongoing.
