Authorities in St. Lucie County are currently investigating the death of a woman who was found on the side of the southbound lanes of Interstate 95.

The discovery was made Tuesday morning by a man who pulled over on the side of the road because he was having car trouble.

Multiple crime scene units are currently at the scene which seems to be just inches from the roadway.

No other details have been released at this moment.

One southbound lane of I-95 is currently closed due to the investigation.
