(SAN ANTONIO, TX)– The San Antonio Police department is reporting that a woman who called them because someone was chasing her, was later found with a gunshot wound to the head.
The call came in around 3:34 a.m. on Monday.
While authorities were searching for the woman and her vehicle, they received another call about a car accident near Fredericksburg Road and Gardina Street.
When they arrived, they found the woman who was being chased, injured inside of a vehicle.
As authorities were trying to help the woman with injuries she sustained during the crash, they noticed that the woman had also been shot in the back of the head.
According to the report, the victim initially made it difficult to help her but authorities were eventually able to transport her to an area hospital.
