The Summit County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a woman was found dead inside of a hot tub at Best Western hotel hot tub in Coalville.
According to the report, the 56-year-old from Laramie, Wyoming was discovered by her family floating on her back around 7:00 am on May 3rd .
The family told investigators that she walked down to the hot tub by herself and was last seen moving around in the tub at 6:30 a.m.
First responders performed life saving procedures, however, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is unclear how the woman died.
Family members reported that the woman had several health conditions.
Authorities will perform an autopsy to determine her cause of death.
