Now this gives a whole new meaning to the phrase, “I’d rather die.”

A woman in New Mexico is suing a hospital where she was an inpatient for…get this…bringing her back to life!

Yes indeed, lawyers for Jamie Sams are suing Sante Fe’s Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center for saving their client’s life.

According to the lawsuit, the hospital and an unnamed doctor caused her to go into cardiac arrest, after which she was given a painkiller to which Sams had told the staff she was allergic.

That’s not where it ends, though.

Court documents argue that the negligence was increased when doctors resuscitated Sams, which she did not want.

Hospital spokesperson Arturo Delgado declined to comment, and Sams is now seeking an unspecified amount in damages.
