Woman shoots ex after he showed up at her job

A convenience store clerk has been arrested after she shot her ex-boyfriend during an argument at her place of employment.

The incident occurred in North Charleston, South Carolina on Sunday.

According to reports, 26-year-old Taylor Ann Babin was working behind the counter when her ex-boyfriend showed up to the store and the two got into an argument.

Babin then shot the victim.

When authorities interviewed Babin she refused to say anything other than that they had an argument with the victim.

Surveillance footage, however, showed the victim leaving the store as Babin followed behind him with a rifle. She then fired two shots in the victim’s direction.

Babin was arrested and transported to the Al Cannon Detention Center.

She facings domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature charges and has a bond of $25,000.
