A South Florida woman, Patricia Guerrero, was able to recover her Miami hope after she had been dealing with squatters for months.
According to Guerrero she had asked judges and police officers for help, but no one solved her problem. Her home was invaded by squatters for nearly 10 months.
This week she took matters into her own hands and took her home back.
A spokesperson for Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava released a statement saying officials are reviewing the policy that affected Guerrero and change is coming.
