A 23-year-old is behind bars after she allegedly stabbed and then ran over a man she met online , after they had a disagreement.

The incident occurred on December 9th in Wisconsin after 5:45 a.m.

Authorities say a witness told them that they heard screaming as they were getting out of the shower and went to the window to see what was happening.

That’s when they saw their neighbor, Lydia Carmona-Cartagena, fighting in the road with an unknown male. The witness told authorities that at first they thought the male was on top of Carmona-Cartagena hitting her but at a second look, they found that Carmona-Cartagena was the aggressor.

The witness then saw Carmona-Cartagena get into a vehicle and repeatedly run down the man in the road.

When police spoke to Carmona-Cartagena, she told them that she met the victim, 41-year-old Chad Wilson, on Facebook a week or two earlier. They then decided to hang out on December 8th for the first time. Carmona-Cartagena told authorities that she and Wilson hung out for almost 24 hours at his home where they drank and did drugs including cocaine.

At some point during the hangout, Wilson became frustrated with Carmona-Cartagena because she “was putting a lighter and cups on the tables.” Carmona-Cartagena says she did not like the aggression and asked for Wilson to drive her home.

During the drive home, Wilson reportedly stopped his vehicle and told Carmona-Cartagena to get out and walk. The 23-year-old says she did not like that because she had a bag full of clothes and would have to carry them all the way home. That’s when she pulled out a knife and “stabbed him 3 times [in] the legs and abdomen.” Wilson was able to get the knife away from her and began screaming for help as he laid in the middle of the road.

That’s when Carmona-Cartagena “walked over and kicked [him] in the face while he was on the ground ‘like a dog,” the witness told police.

She then got into the victim’s car ran him over and continued to circle around the neighborhood to run him over. Authorities say Carmona-Cartagena ran over the victim at least four times before she fled the scene.

Carmona-Cartagena was eventually located about a block away from her own driveway, still sitting in the victim’s car.

She has since been charged with first-degree murder and is due back in court on Dec. 23rd.
