Authorities in Philadelphia are currently searching for a woman who threatened fast food workers at a Chipotle with a gun after she was informed that they were closing early for the day.
The incident occurred at the restaurant inside the Roosevelt Mall on Cottman Avenue around 5 p.m. on Saturday.
Authorities say while employees were closing up, a woman wearing a grey shirt and pink pants came to the counter to order food. When the woman was told the establishment was done serving food for the day, she came upset saying “somebody better give me my food.”
The woman could be seen on surveillance digging into her purse and pulling out a gun which she then gestured toward workers behind the counter.
The woman then demanded to speak to a manager as employees pressed a button that alerts mall security.
An employee complied with the woman’s demands, however, the woman continued to threaten the staff with her weapon before leaving the scene.
Authorities are now searching for the suspect.
