Woman in crisis getting help after breaking into home with child

OLYMPIA, WA–

A woman in crisis is now getting the help she needs after she reportedly broke into a home with her 4-year-old child and left another child wandering the beach.
The incident occurred around 5:00 a.m. Friday at a home in the 7100 block of Bayview Drive Northeast.
Authorities say they received a call around 1:00 a.m. from a witness stating that a woman and two young children were dancing in a driveway in the 500 block of Dover Point Lane NE.
When officials arrived at the address, however, the woman and children were nowhere to be found.
Authorities then received another call around 5:00 a.m. where a woman with a small child, were seen breaking into a home through a sliding glass door. The witness told officials that the woman and the child were in the bathroom of the home.
First responders reported that it was evident the woman was suffering from some sort of mental health crisis.
They were able to take the woman into custody and rescue the child.
While getting the situation under control, authorities realized that there was a child missing.
Officials began searching the area and then heard the faint cries of another child.
A boy was found on a nearby beach alone.
The children have been placed in protective custody while the mother gets the help she needs.
