Authorities in Miami are currently investigating after a woman was discovered in the trunk of a car they pulled over.

The woman was discovered in a gray Honda sedan around 3:18 p.m. between Northeast 126th Street and 16th Avenue in North Miami.

Officials say they attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle after it came out of the Biscayne Park area. When the vehicle finally stopped, authorities noticed a noise coming from the trunk of the vehicle.

When they opened the trunk, they discovered the woman.

According to the report, the woman knows the driver of the vehicle and has told officers that she does not want to press charges.

It is unclear if a citation will be made.
