Authorities in Port St. Lucie are currently investigating the death of a woman who was found shot to death inside of a home. The discovery was made the 11200 block of Southwest Stockton Place in the Town Park neighborhood of Tradition. Officials say they were called to the area around 11:30 a.m. in reference to a welfare check. When they arrived, they found the glass patio slider shattered and a woman dead in a bedroom. Authorities have not released the name of the victim at this time.
