(WINTER HAVEN, FL)– The Polk County Sheriff’s department is investigating a vehicle crash that left one person dead.
The incident occurred Saturday evening while one of the vehicles was attempting to return to a car dealership during a test drive.
Authorities say the driver taking a test drive reportedly made a left turn in front of another vehicle and caused a crash.
When officials arrived at the scene, they found the passenger of the other vehicle, 76-year-old Jean Worme dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries, while the driver and sales representative of the test-driven vehicle did not suffer any injuries.
All passengers and victims were said to have been wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.
