A 50-year-old man has been arrested after his wife found him in bed with a 7-year-old girl.
The incident occurred Sunday in Charleston County, South Carolina.
According to the report, the woman came home to find her husband Anthony Furman and the girl in the bed with the bedsheet pulled up around their necks.
When she pulled the blanket away, her husband quickly removed his hands from the child.
The woman then asked the child what they were doing in bed and the child replied “touching her private parts,” according to the report.
Furman then fled the area but was later located by authorities.
He has been charged with 3rd-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and remains at the Al Cannon Detention Center.
His bond has been set at $30,000.
It is unclear how Furman knows the child.
