The champion of college football will be determined tonight. Top-ranked Alabama takes on number-three Ohio State in the College Football Playoff National Championship game at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. The Crimson Tide are 12-and-0, while the Buckeyes enter at 7-and-0. The two sides last met six years ago with Ohio State defeating Alabama 42-35 in the College Football Playoff.
Jen and Karen are on opposite sides of the ball. Jen is an Ohio State alum and Karen’s daughter, Katrina, is a recent graduate of the University of Alabama. So the two gals decided to determine the outcome of tonight’s matchup ahead of time with their own competition…arm wrestling.
Hard Rock stadium will have some fans, but it will not be full due to the coronavirus pandemic.
But Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau President Bill Talbert says nonetheless, having the game played at Hard Rock Stadium and broadcast internationally offers priceless advertising showing South Florida is “open for business” safely. Hotel occupancy rates are already going up, proving people are ready to travel.
