Joe Biden said “God save the Queen, man” as he wrapped up his gun safety speech in Connecticut.

The US president spoke at the National Safer Communities Summit in West Hartford on the one-year anniversary of the passage of the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act.

Mr Biden’s speech focused on his call for new laws to ban AR-15-style semiautomatic rifles and high-capacity magazines and to make gun owners liable for the unsafe storage of their weapons.
