If you have plans to visits the West Palm Beach City hall any time soon, you can leave your face mask at home.

The city hall announced, that they are no longer requiring face masks or appointments to enter the building.

The decision comes a week after West Palm Beach’s COVID-19 emergency order expired and was not renewed.

City hall began requiring face masks to enter the building in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The CDC has since rescinded the face masks order earlier this year but some businesses and establishments have been hesitant to remove the safety measure.

Those who feel more safe wearing a face mask will still be able to do so at their own discretion.
