A five-year-old child is recovering from serious injuries after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in West Palm Beach on Sunday.
The accident happened around 8:00 p.m. in the 500 block of Okeechobee Boulevard and police say the child was hit while crossing the street with family.
The injured child was transported to St. Mary’s trauma center in critical condition.
The suspect vehicle has been identified as a white or grey four-door car.
