A local gun shop is making some news of its own not because of what it sells, but due to its new rules about masks.
Guns and Range Training Center, which is located in West Palm Beach, released a video this week announcing a new, no-mask policy.
“Imagine this scenario you have six or seven (people) walking in with a mask with ill intent,” owner Alex Shkop says in the video. “That prevents us from identifying from who they are and we’ve had a couple of encounters similar to that description. These are guns so if they go missing, that’s somebody’s life at stake.”
Alex discusses why Guns and Range does not allow masks in the store. #Saftey #Pro2A #GunsandRange #WestPalmBeach #SouthFlorida #Firerams #Pistols #Rifles #EDC #ConcealedCarry #Health #Covid19

Although the store has implemented the no mask policy, Shkop explains that they will make special accommodations for people who do need to wear one.
However, individuals who do require a mask and want to go to the store will be required to call the business ahead of their visit.
Anybody who does not make an appointment will not be allowed to enter if they are wearing a mask.
