West Palm Beach Fire observes 9/11 with Memorial Stair Climb

(WEST PALM BEACH, FLA) — As all eyes are on Great Britain following the death of the Queen and the appointment of a new King, Americans must not forget what happened on Sept. 11, 2001 this Sunday.

The West Palm Beach Fire Department is observing the solemn anniversary with its annual Memorial Stair Climb.

The event is sold out, but you can still take part in the CrossFit workouts.  Here’s the event information:

WHAT:            The West Palm Beach Fire Department will host its annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb to honor the first responders who lost their lives in the line of duty following the terror attacks on September 11, 2001.
The event will feature a live performance of the national anthem, a presentation of the colors by the West Palm Beach Fire Department Honor Guard, CrossFit workouts, a stair climb representing the 110 floors of the World Trade Center and more.
