Wendy Williams releases a statement on her ongoing medical conditions after spending months away from her talk show.

The 57-year-old tv host took to Instagram to share her recovery process from a breakthrough COVID-19 case in September and medical complications of thyroid condition.

Williams poured her heart out to the fans and her amazing staff.

Micheal Rapport, Bill Bellamy, and Jerry Springer are all slated as guests host of the show in November, while Williams recovers.

“I want to thank all of my staff and our guest hosts for stepping up and stepping in while I can’t be there.” I also want to thank Debmar-Mercury and our stations for being so understanding and supportive while I work my way back.

Williams has always been very transparent about her past addiction and health complications.

The talk show host said she will return to the show when her doctors agree it’s a good time to return.

“I’m a woman of a certain age, and I know enough to listen to my doctors and will return to my purple chair as soon as we all agree I’m ready.” she said.
