A massive crocodilian (an order of mostly large, predatory, semiaquatic reptiles that first appeared 95 million years ago in the Late Cretaceous period) in Florida is back in captivity after briefly breaking out of a transport van.
The St. Augustine Alligator Farm took to Facebook to share a video of the incident which shows the crocodilian broke through the glass and ran onto the street while it was being transported to another zoo. Fortunately, a you can see in the video, thanks to the crew’s quick action, the reptile was recaptured and eventually made it to its new home.
The zoo added the reptile had its mouth taped shut so there was no threat to the public at any time.
