Police are investigating a shocking video showing a semitruck dragging a crashed vehicle.

The incident occurred Tuesday around 11:40 a.m. on Interstate 294 northbound just outside Chicago.

Another driver captured video of the red 2014 Freightliner trailer dragging a black 2005 Honda Accord underneath the trailer bed for about 50 miles down the freeway.  At one point in the video, the 19-year-old driver of the Honda Accord is seen waving at on coming traffic.

Illinois State Police say that driver of the Honda Accord attempted to switch lanes when her vehicle somehow became stuck under the passenger side of the trailer.

Another driver was able to flag down the driver of the semi and let them know what happened.

Thankfully no one was injured in the incident.

Authorities are currently investigating.
