President Biden is ending his vacation at Camp David early and will return to Washington D.C. to address the nation about the crisis in Afghanistan this afternoon.
The President is departing Camp David earlier than expected due to the escalating nature of the crisis.
His speech is scheduled for 3:45 Eastern Time.
The Taliban gained control of the capital city of Kabul after the Afghan President fled the country.
