Elizabeth became Queen in 1952 at age 25 upon the sudden death of her father, King George the Sixth.

The first of the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations is kicking off with a public display of horses and military personnel in a parade through London, joined by members of the Royal Family.

Prince Harry and Meghan are appearing with the royal family for the first time in two years.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are joining the other royals for the Queen’s birthday parade today.
Their two children, Archie and Lilibet, will also be at the parade. It will be the Queen’s first opportunity to meet her great-granddaughter.
Jubilee celebrations continue through Sunday.
