WATCH: Accused face-biting killer Austin Harrouff opens up to Dr. Phil

Austin Harrouff, 19, accused of killing a Tequesta couple and biting the face of one has broken his silence.

Harrouff spoke to the Dr. Phil show from his hospital bed, just weeks before his arrest on two counts of first degree murder in the killings of Stevens and Mishcon, on August 15.

In the never before seen video clip, you can hear Harrouff crying and apologizing:

“I hope that you can find it in your heart to forgive me,”  “And I’m so sorry and I never wanted this to happen.”

When asked by Dr. Phil if he was ashamed of what he did, Austin replied, “Yes, yes, yes… yes.”

How could such a seemingly normal teen commit such a horrible crime?
