Video captured by the owner of The Old Key Lime House on the Intracoastal Waterway in Lantana shows the popular eatery being thrashed by a waterspout Thursday afternoon.

Ryan Cordero, the owner of the restaurant, says the waterspout hit at around 2:30 PM as a heavy thunderstorm moved through the area.

Parts of the outdoor Tiki bar can be seen coming down in the video as patrons went inside for shelter.

Some chose to remain at the bar.

Photos of the aftermath sent to our partners at WPTV show roofing material on the ground along with a broken metal flagpole in the parking lot.

No injuries were reported and the restaurant remains open for business.
