MELBOURNE- Coast Guard crews and sheriff’s deputies are searching for 68 year old boater Dale Hossfield who went missing Wednesday afternoon.
The Vero Beach resident picked up his boat from a Fort Pierce marina on Wednesday morning and later that evening it was found washed ashore north of there in Melbourne, empty and with the engines still running.
Hossfeld has not been heard from since.

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is assisting the Coast Guard in the search for Hossfeld, along with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
