
LAKELAND, FL– Authorities in Lakeland are reporting that they have found the vehicle connected to the mass shooting that left 11 people injured on Monday.
The dark blue Nissan Ultima was located in a West Lakeland neighborhood.
While no suspects are in custody, authorities say they are speaking to several people, including the owner of the vehicle.
11 people were injured when suspects driving a blue Nissan opened fire near Iowa North and Plum Street around 3:43 p.m.
Witnesses say the occupants rolled down all four windows and began shooting from both sides of the car.
While there were four people in the vehicle, authorities believe that only two of the occupants opened fire.
Of the victims, two men have critical injuries, and nine people have non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Authorities also detailed that one of the men in critical condition was shot in the head, while the other was shot in the abdomen.
