(PALM BEACH GARDENS, FLA) — UPDATE — From our citizen journalist, Christine Jones, who witnessed and reported on this breaking news story of a takedown on Friday morning near the Gardens Mall. According to her reporting: “Here are their mugshots.
I didn’t see the third guy in zip ties, but he seems to be related to the crime.
This doesn’t look like a major crime. Good to see that there is law and order though.”
The trio are charged with burglary, property damage and criminal mischief, according to PBSO booking documents.

A Palm Beach County deputy crashed his cruiser into suspect vehicle in front of the Gardens Mall during rush hour on Friday morning, according to a witness.
Heavy police activity is reported in the area of the Gardens Mall involving several suspects and the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office. An 850WFTL mobile unit reported around 7:30 Friday morning that “Just outside the Gardens mall, on PGA going west, *police have a huge presence and have a couple people where they stopped their vehicle by crashing into a cruiser. The guys are outside their car with their hands up and guns pointed. It’s crazy”
