
UPDATE: Two of three boaters who recently went missing in South Florida have been located, one alive one dead.
First, a boater missing since Monday has been rescued off the Jupiter Inlet on Tuesday night, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.
54-year-old Juan Evelio Ferrer Gonzales left Bimini, Bahamas, on Sunday en route to Homestead, located in southern Miami-Dade County and never showed up.
Coast Guard crews found Gonzales alive at about 10:45 p.m. Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Coconut Creek police confirmed Thursday morning that a man who went missing over the weekend while riding his canoe on Coco Lake has been found dead.
According to Coconut Creek police spokesman Scotty Leamon, a resident flying his drone over Coco Lake spotted a body floating in the water.
The body was identified as the missing canoer.

The U.S. Coast Guard and local law enforcement are searching for three men who have been reported missing in separate boating incidents in the waters off South Florida.
Coast Guard officials say Juan Evelio Ferrer Gonzales, 54, was last seen on Monday departing Bimini on his way to Homestead Bayfront Park on his 22-foot boat.
Officials are also searching for a 43-year-old man wearing blue shorts with a black stripe who fell off his yellow kayak near Geiger Key.

Also, Coconut Creek police are searching for 60-year-old Daniel Potter who was last seen Saturday heading to Coco Lake with his canoe to go fishing.
Coconut Creek police rescue crews, dive teams and the BSO helicopter are all taking part in the search, but sadly have been unsuccessful in finding Potter or his canoe.
