Update: Body found in Intercoastal waterway identified as missing Greenacres man

Lake Worth, FL– The body of a man who was found floating in the intercoastal waterway in Lake Worth has been identified.
Authorities have identified the victim as 32-year-old Jon Lejiste of Greenacres.
Officials say Lejiste was reported missing to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office by his family over the weekend.
A Missing Person’s Unit sergeant familiar with the case then heard about an unidentified body that was discovered in Lake Worth and contacted the West Palm Beach Police Department to see it if was a match.
Once the identity was confirmed, authorities contacted Lejiste’s family.
Lejiste’s body was discovered last week by the U.S. Coast Guard near Spillway Park. The Coast Guard then contacted the West Palm Beach Police Department.
An autopsy performed on May 26 determined the death was not suspicious.
