Officials in Northwest Miami-Dade are currently searching for two suspects who were caught on camera stealing appliances from a home that is under construction.

The incident was reported on Thursday around 4:30 a.m.  at the home on the 8500 block of Northwest 172nd Street.

Two suspects were seen entering the home through both the backyard and a bathroom window.

The homeowner reported the men stole tens of thousands of dollars worth of appliances from the home while they were on vacation.

“Basically, all of my new appliances, toilets and plumbing fixtures, everything was just here in the living room just ready to be just installed,” home owner Isael Prieto  told reporters. “We were just in our final stages of renovating the property.”
