
Georgia– Two people and a dog are safely back on land after they were rescued by the United States Coast Guard Air Station.
The rescue took place on Monday near St. Simons Sound.
According to the report, the two people and the dog were traveling on a 28-foot catamaran when it suddenly started taking on water.
Rescue crews were able to get the travelers off the boat in time but, the boat was said to have sank near St. Simons Sound.
Despite losing the boat, the rescued and their dog are said to be in good spirits, according to the Air Station.
