Two diners are recovering in the hospital after the deck at the waterfront restaurant they were eating at partially collapsed.
The incident occurred at Flip Flops Dockside Eatery in Fort Lauderdale last week.
Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue officials say the diners were eating outside on the deck when it suddenly collapsed.
At least three adults swam to a nearby boat at the dock and were pulled from the water by other people.
Two of those diners were then taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Battalion Chief Stephen Gollan told reporters at the Sun Sentinel that the dock had apparent signs of decay and obvious signs of recent repair.
AP News reached out to the restaurant and was told that they could not comment on the incident.
