Two people are recovering after a driver lost control of their vehicle and crashed into a house.

The incident was reported in the Pinewood neighborhood near Northwest 101st Street in Miami-Dade.

Miami-Dade Police Detective Alvaro Zabaleta told reporters that after the driver crashed into the home, the home caught fire.

Two people suffered smoke inhalation and one of them was also said to have suffered a leg laceration.

Firefighters have since put out the fire.
