
(PALM BEACH SHORES, Florida)– Two dozen Haitian migrants are in federal custody Tuesday morning as part of what officials called a “maritime smuggling event.”
Chief Patrol Agent Walter N. Slosar with Palm Beach Border Patrol tweeted the 24 migrants were found off the coast of Palm Beach after they arrived on a 33-foot vessel.
The migrants are being held in a Palm Beach Border Patrol facility in Riviera Beach.
