Authorities in Texas are reporting that two construction workers were buried alive after a 20-foot trench they were working in collapsed.
Jarrell Police say they responded to a construction site after receiving an emergency call around 8:39 a.m. Tuesday reporting that two workers were buried inside the trench.
At this time, both men are presumed to be dead, and authorities say they are currently working on recovering their bodies.
It is unclear how the trench collapsed.
Rescue crews from surrounding communities, including Round Rock, Georgetown, and Austin are contributing to the rescue efforts.
