Manhattan, NY– Donald Trump has arrived at the courthouse in Manhattan where he is expected to face charges in connection with the hush money payment he allegedly made to porn star Stormy Daniels during the 2016 election.
The charges come after a years-long investigation into the alleged payment.
According to reports, Daniels was paid by Trump to keep her from speaking publicly about an alleged affair they had in 2016.
Trump is expected to plead not guilty to all counts.
Many supporters of Donald Trump have accused the left of “weaponization of the government” and claim the indictment is “politically motivated.”
Donald Trump is the first former president to ever be indicted on criminal charges.
Cameras will not be allowed in the courtroom during the arraignment, but Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is expected to speak to the media about the charges following the hearing.
The former president is also expected to give his own speech once he arrives home at Mar-a-Lago Tuesday night.
