
The National Hurricane Center has issued a Tropical Storm warning for Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast.
The system known as Potential Tropical Cyclone One is expected to be named Alex on Friday and will bring heavy rain to all of South Florida.
As of 5 PM Friday, the system is heading northeast at 7 MPH with maximum sustained winds of 40 MPH
The effects could be felt as early as Friday afternoon with the possibility of 5-8 inches of rain through Saturday across the Palm Beaches.
A Flood Watch is in effect from Palm Beach county to Miami-Dade though Sunday morning
