Tropical Storm Grace is producing tropical storm force winds

According to the Weather Channel, Tropical Storm Grace became the seventh named storm of the season on Saturday.

The storm is expected to bring heavy rain and flooding, and even prompted a tropical storm warning for parts of the eastern Caribbean, including the US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

Maximum sustained winds are roughly 45 mph, with some strengthening expected during the next couple of days.

The storm is expected to weaken as it moves over the Dominican Republic next week, preventing the storm from further strengthening through the end of the forecast period.
