Palm Beach has officially started distributing the COVID-19 vaccine.

People 65 and older with scheduled appointments will begin receiving the COVID-19 vaccine in the Town of Palm Beach on Tuesday.

Palm Beach Fire Rescue will administer the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to Town of Palm Beach Residents beginning at 9 a.m.

The town says its Fire Rescue Department is registered as a Closed Point of Distribution (POD) with the Palm Beach County Health Department, meaning paramedics will be able to directly provide residents who are 65 or older with the vaccine.

All appointments for this week are full.
