Tina Turner sells massive music catalog to BMG music company

Tina Turner, the Queen of Soul, is selling her impeccable music catalog.

The 81-year-old dynamic performer has sold her music rights to German music company BMG, according to a statement that was released on Wednesday.

The deal includes recordings, writings and a total of 10 studio albums, soundtracks and many compilations.

Her work has is truly remarkable and respected internationally.

Turner will continue to be signed under the Warner Music record label but BMG will be handling all her former work to preserve her music legacy.

“The protection of my life’s work, my musical inheritance, is something personal, “Turner said in a statement. “I am confident that with BMG and Warner Music my work is in professional and reliable hands.

Tina Turner is a legend and will continue to inspire musicians for many years to come.
