It’s time to “fall back!” Daylight Savings Time will end on Sunday, November 7, 2021, 2:00 a.m., and we will “fall back” to Standard Time.
On Saturday night, remember to set your clocks back one hour.
The West Palm Beach Fire Department reminds you to install fresh batteries in your smoke alarm and/or carbon monoxide alarm.
Make sure these devices are in good working order. Newer models have a 10-year battery, so be sure to check their expiration dates. Also, check to see if your fire extinguishers need recharging.
Smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, and fire extinguishers can help save lives!
And Florida Senator Marco Rubio wants to put an end to the daylight saving time “clock dance.” He has introduced a bill that keeps Daylight Saving Time all year round, but Congress won’t bring it up for a vote.
He says he will try to tack the measure on another bill to get it passed this year.
