Tim Tebow is on track for a return to football in a quasi-team leader, tight end situation.
The #Jaguars are planning to sign QB-turned-TE Tim Tebow to a 1-year deal, per me and @TomPelissero, a deal that could be official in the next week or so. Nothing done yet. But he’ll have a chance to make the team to reunite with his mentor and college head coach Urban Meyer.

NFL Network reports the Jacksonville Jaguars are planning to sign the former Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback as a tight end.
"[Tim Tebow] has not played a snap in a regular season game since 2012… He could be awesome at tight end at the age of 33 playing the position in the NFL for the first time… But all we have to work on is what we know and what we know is nothing."

The move would reunite Tebow with head coach Urban Meyer after their days at Florida to employ his inspiring leadership skills. The 33-year-old last played in the NFL with the Jets in 2012.
Tebow’s return to the NFL is fueling a backlash in the Black community over the perceived ostracization of Colin Kaepernick.
Listen, I have nothing against #timtebow but you’re gonna tell me with a straight face that he can get a contract but #Kaepernick can’t ? All the talk about how much time Kap has missed & potential distractions etc should never be repeated ever again in life pic.twitter.com/mIUG1DI2B6

The reunion is already inspiring some pretty funny NFL memes.
