Three bodies pulled from PBC canal after crash

A Palm Beach County dive team have uncovered the bodies of 3 people who died after a 24-year old driver lost control and crashed into a canal off Southern Boulevard on Sunday.

According to PBSO, Luis Flores driving his Wrangler eastbound on Southern Boulevard and exited at  Congress Avenue losing control and plowing into the canal around 5:30 a.m.

The plunge into the water ripped the roof off the vehicle and the three occupants were thrown into the water.

According to PBSO, the two passengers are identified as Cindy Castro, 21, of Lake Worth, and Vanessa Saenz, 20, of Coconut Creek.

 

Dive teams located their bodies  in the canal Monday morning.  The driver’s body was pulled from the water on Sunday.

Officials will determine whether alcohol played any role in the deadly accident.
