Thieves cut through store wall and steal millions in merchandise

AP police, emergency

Authorities in Michigan are currently searching for the suspects responsible for cutting through the wall of a store and stealing millions of dollars in merchandise. The incident was reported at  Super Fair Cellular the night of Oct. 16.

Officials say the thieves cut a hole around 3 feet high and 3 feet wide through the store’s wall sometime between about 7 p.m. and midnight. They then stole 300,000 cellphones, and other equipment from the store.

Authorities say though the store was equipped with a security system, it was no match for the suspects.

It is estimated that $2 million worth of merchandise was taken from the store.  Authorities are still searching for the suspects.
