The left is vetting Guard troops and targeting Trump supporters with deprogramming

The F-B-I is vetting the tens of thousands of National Guard troops at the Capital after concerns over a possible inside attack tomorrow. Chris Rodriguez, D.C. Director of Homeland Security, says that safety comes first. Some National Guard troops are being investigated, and the F-B-I is conducting background checks on all of the guardsmen to potentially determine where their allegiance lies. Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy told The Associated Press on Sunday that officials are conscious of the potential threat, and he warned commanders to be on the lookout for any problems within their ranks as the inauguration approaches. So far, however, he and other leaders say they have seen no evidence of any threats, and officials said the vetting hadn’t flagged any issues that they were aware of. But, some Democrats charge that white males in the NG are the biggest threat and concern.  Democratic Rep. Steve Cohen told MSNBC, “The National Guard is 90 some odd percent white males and only about 20% of white males voted for Biden. There are probably not more than 25% of the people there protecting us that voted for Biden.”

”We’re continually going through the process, and taking second, third looks at every one of the individuals assigned to this operation,” McCarthy said in an interview after he and other military leaders went through an exhaustive, three-hour security drill in preparation for Wednesday’s inauguration. He said Guard members are also getting training on how to identify potential insider threats. Meanwhile, the left is calling for the deprogramming of the “cult of Trump” supporters. Radicalized terrorists and cult members get deprogrammed not informed voters. Here’s what would be involved according to : “Deprogramming is the more drastic of the two approaches because it usually involves an initial kidnapping to get the cult member away from the cult. For this reason, deprogramming is a very expensive service. It can cost in the tens of thousands of dollars. After the forced removal, deprogramming mostly involves hours and hours of intense “debriefing,” during which a team of deprogrammers hold the cult member against his will and use ethical psychological techniques to try to counter the unethical psychological techniques used by the cult. The goal is to get the cult member to think for himself and re-evaluate his situation.” Debriefing methods can include: ~Educating the cult member on thought-reform techniques and helping him/her to recognize those methods in his own cult experience ~Asking questions that encourage the cult member to think in a critical, independent way, helping him to recognize that type of thinking and praising him for it ~Attempting to produce an emotional connection to his former life by introducing objects from his past and having family members share their memories of his pre-cult existence
