Texas man allegedly decapitates newlywed wife

(TEXAS)– A Texas man is in custody after Waller County Sheriff’s Office said he allegedly decapitated his newlywed wife.

Jared Dicus, 21, was arrested after deputies responded to a home around 4:20 p.m. Wednesday after family members of the woman’s husband called them.

Waller County Sheriff Troy Guidry said authorities found the body of Anggy Diaz, 21, Wednesday afternoon at a home the couple shared in a rural area near Magnolia, located about 44 miles northwest of Houston.

After Dicus was arrested he fully confessed to the crime of murdering his wife and mutilating her body.

Dicus is being charged with first-degree murder and currently, his bond is $500,000.
